The Friends of the Kings County Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides critical support for the Kings County Library. Formed in 1984, our purpose is to foster and focus the community's interest in the Kings County Library.
Friends of the Library support the library by:
- Holding Bi-Annual Book Sales
- Online Book Sales
- Sponsoring the Summer Reading Program for children, teens, and adults
- Helping recruit volunteers
The Friends of the Kings County Library meet on the second Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Hanford Branch Library. Please contact the library at 559-582-0261 for more information.
