Armona Community Branch

The Armona Library operated as a branch of the Kings County Library until 1984. Under a joint powers agreement between the Armona Community Services District, the Armona Union Elementary School District, and the County of Kings, the Armona Branch Library became the Armona Community Library. The Armona Community Library is operated by the Armona Union Elementary School District and the Kings County Library.

The City of Armona may be tiny, but it is fiercely proud of its history; the town motto is "Small But Proud." Armona has churches; a school district, and Raven's Deli which is famous for their beef jerky. Many generations of families can claim Armona as home.
