Online Spring Into Reading Challenge Details

Put some spring in your step and get reading! Join our free online "Spring Into Reading" online reading challenge from Monday, March 22 - Monday, April 26 and complete the challenge of reading 14 hours or 400 minutes to earn digital badges.

While the library buildings are still closed to the public due to COVID-19, kids, teens, and adults can participate in our free online spring reading challenge!


•Access our eLibrary digital collection of eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and more from our website or the Overdrive and cloudLibrary apps.

•Track your reading progress online at or on-the-go with the free Beanstack app starting Monday, March 22. Please include book title, author, and total number of minutes.

 How to Participate:

Start Reading!

•Download or stream eBooks and eAudiobooks from or borrow books, audiobooks, and magazines from the Kings County Library using our contact-free holds pickup service.

•Read items of your own or from other collections. All reading must occur within the program dates (March 22-April 26) to count for the program.

How to Earn Digital Badges:

•Record your books read on Beanstack app/website. The last day to record or report books read is April 21.

•Earn 1 digital badge for each hour you read for a total of 14 badges.

•Earn 16 digital badges to complete the program (this total includes 0 points for program registration and program completion badges.)
